2PC DIN Standard Threaded Ball Valve

A 2-piece ball valve consists of two parts: the valve body and the valve cap.The valve body is casted from stainless steel or carbon steel, with the ball inserted from one side and then sealed by compressing the valve seat. This design offers the most compact structure, light weight, fewer leakage points, and reliable sealing. However, it typically features a full bore design. The valve connects to the pipeline via threads, making installation and removal easy without welding.

The working principle of a two-piece ball valve is based on rotating the valve ball to open or close the valve. Ball valves are easy to operate, compact, can be manufactured in large sizes, offer reliable sealing, have a simple structure, and are easy to maintain. The sealing surface and the ball are usually in a closed state, making them less susceptible to erosion by the medium. They are widely used in various industries.

Two-piece ball valves are mainly used in pipelines for cutting off, distributing, and changing the flow direction of the medium.

 

2-PC Stainless Steel Threaded Ball Valve
The valve body is made of cast stainless steel (commonly CF8/304 or CF8M/316). It offers excellent corrosion resistance and is suitable for water, steam, oil, gas, and various some corrosive media. 

2-PC Carbon Steel Threaded Ball Valve

The valve body is made of ASTM A216 WCB cast steel, whose core advantages are high strength, good temperature resistance, and low cost. It is suitable for a wide temperature range, typically from -29°C to +425°C. Within this range, it maintains good performance, especially for high-temperature media such as steam and hot oil. The casting process is mature, allowing for the manufacture of complex valve body structures.  It offers a low overall cost and high cost-effectiveness, making it an "economical and practical" choice among carbon steel valves. Its main weakness is its lack of corrosion resistance. It is not suitable for corrosive media such as acids, alkalis, and seawater. It is prone to rusting in humid atmospheres, so the valve should be protected with sufficient external paint or coating.Multiple international standard thread options are available:

• BSPT(Rc): British Standard Pipe Taper thread
• BSPP(G): British Standard Pipe Parallel thread

2PC V-Port ball valve with Calibrated Scale

This valve combines three key technologies:
1. 2-PC (Two-piece body): The most compact structure with fewer leakage points, usually featuring a reduced bore design, suitable for fixed installations and applications with limited space.
2. Threaded connection: Convenient for small-diameter pipes (such as DN15-DN50) and eliminates the need for welding.

3. V-Port Ball:
The ball features a precisely machined V-shaped notch (common angles include 15°, 30°, 45°, 60°, 90°, etc.).When the valve is opened, the V-shaped notch and the valve seat form a unique wedge-shaped gap, allowing for precise regulation and throttling control of the fluid, rather than just full open/full closed operation.
4. Calibrated Scale:
A visual indicator device mounted on the valve stem or actuator.It displays the rotation angle of the valve stem (i.e., the opening degree of the ball) in percentage or angle form. This is crucial for processes requiring precise flow control or setting a fixed opening degree.

Its design objective is to meet the demands of complex industrial applications that require reliable shutoff, precise and repeatable process control, and convenient equipment maintenance.
