Product Description

Hh44X-16q Heavy Hammer Cast Iron Micro-Resistance Slow-Closing Check Valve

Product Description

A check valve, clack valve, non-return valve or one-way valve is a valve that normally allows fluid(liquid or gas) to flow through it in only one direction.
Check valves are two-port valves, meaning they have two openings in the body, one for fluid to enter and the other for fluid to leave. There are available in a wide range of sizes and costs, check valves generally are very small, simple or inexpensive. Check valves work automatically and most are not controlled by a person or any external Control; accordingly, most do not have any valve handle or stem.
The bodies(external shells) of most check valves are made of metal or palstic.
Product Structure
The valve is mainly composed of main valve, needle valve, ball valve and micro filter etc, as shown in the following picture:

Slow closing water hammer reducing performance
1. When the medium flow back, the valve close fastly and then flow slowly, the slowly closing time can be adjustable in 0-60 seconds.
2.  When the medium flowing back in the pipeline, the valve can be adjusted to the peak value of water hammer 1.5 times greater than the working pressure.
3.  When the medium flowing back, the valve can be adjusted to the pump reverse speed that is not more than 1.3 times of the rated speed.
Working Principle
The valve is mainly composed of valve body, bonnet, disc, piston, needle valve (micro control valve) and a heavy hammer. Under the pushing force of the medium inlet of the valve, the valve disc is automatically pushed away, when the valve disc is fully opened, the balance hammer falls forward to the backward of the valve disc, so as to balance the weight of the valve disc, and the pressure to the water because of the valve disc weight. Additionally, the water inner the valve body flow into the cavity of the piston and the piston is fully pushed.

When the water is stopped flowing ( the electric motor is powered off), because of the weight of the valve disc and the pushing force of the flowing back, the valve disc is automatically closed, but because of the piston stem is on the top position, the valve disc can not automatically be closed, there are still 20% space left to make the water flow, the water hammer is weakened. The front end of the valve disc is pushed on the top of the valve piston, the water in the back cavity stop the piston back, that is to stop the valve disc closed. So the water can only flow slowly to the valve body through the needle valve to make the valve close slowly. The valve disc divided into quick closing and slow closing. In this case to achieve the purpose of prevent the electric motor turning reversed and weaken the water hammer. The opening length of the piston determine the opening of the slow closing of the valve disc. The opening length is longer, the valve disc opening is larger, the water hammer is smaller, but the closing time is longer, otherwise the opening length is shorter, the slow opening is smaller.
